• Google Chrome


    By default, Google Chrome will automatically save your file in the Downloads folder. This can frustrating, since you do not have any control over where the file is saved. This behavior is configurable, and we will show you how to change the behavior to prompt you for a location to save the file.

  • Instructions

    1. Within Chrome, click Customize and control Google Chrome > Settings.

    2. Click Show advanced settings near the bottom of the page.

    3. Scroll down until you see Downloads.

    4. Select Ask where to save each file before downloading.
